How Gas Hot Water Works
Gas water heating systems use natural gas or LPG as an energy source to heat water. These systems come in two main options: a storage tank or a continuous flow water heater that heats water on demand.
A continuous flow gas water system heats water only when and where you need it. This eliminates heat loss from a storage tank and saves you money by not paying to constantly heat a cylinder full of water. These systems are also space-saving and can be installed in various locations, making them ideal for homes or buildings with limited space.
Gas water heaters are more efficient than electric water heaters, as they heat water faster, use less energy, and the fuel source is less expensive.
